Boys & Girls  Soccer

The Legacy Knoll Soccer team is a SPRING sport for athletes 6th-8th grade who attend LKMS. This program is a competitive team that requires tryouts in January, with practices starting in January. The regular season run through the end of March. LKMS soccer players are expected to be leaders amongst their peers, pushing themselves to their highest potential as student athletes, teammates, and individuals. Requirements for trying out:

• Students must have a physical form turned into Coach Clanton, or have one on file from a previous sport, prior to the date of tryouts.

• All students must wear cleats and shin guards during try-outs.

If your player makes the team:

• All players must pay the player fee of $150 due by February 1st. As well as purchase the warm-up pullover shirt and socks from the team store. Other optional team gear will be available for purchase as well.

• Students must attend all scheduled practices.  Coach must be notified, by the player prior to practice, if they are not able to attend and provide a legitimate excuse. 

•  Players must maintain passing grades and good student behavior.

• Parents will need to be able to pick up players as promptly as practices or home games end or when we arrive on the bus from an away game. 

Girls Tryout Information:

• Tryouts for the 2025 season will be held December 3, 4 and 5th. A student new to LKMS will have the opportunity to try out after those dates until the February 7 cutoff. 

Boys Tryout Information:

• Tryouts for the 2025 season will be held December 10, 11 and 12th. A student new to LKMS will have the opportunity to try out after those dates until the February 7 cutoff.
