The Jackson County volleyball team opened region play with a pair of dominating victories Tuesday night. The Panthers defeated Clarke Central 25-4, 25-11 and Winder-Barrow 25-6, 25-9. The Panthers are now 2-0 in Region 8-AAAAA and 26-6 overall.
Jackson County faces Alcovy and Loganville in region play today, Sept. 19, followed by Habersham Central and Winder-Barrow on Sept. 26.
