The fourth-ranked team in Class AAAAA, the Jackson County Panthers, earned a pair of non-region wins over higher classification opponents last week in Suwanee. The Panthers defeated Mountain View (25-8, 25-7) and North Gwinnett (25-21, 25-15) 2-0.
Jackson County is now 14-4 on the season.
Holly Ann Keefer had nine total kills in the win, along with 18 assists and eight digs. Ava Lensiak finished with six aces and five digs against Mountain View, while Isabella Palmai finished with five kills against the Bears.
Chloe Wright had five aces, Hannah Stovall had five kills and Siena Berthold had five kills and four blocks against the Bulldogs.
