The Jackson County volleyball team remained perfect in Region 8-AAAAA play Thursday night with a 25-5, 25-4 win over Alcovy and a 25-14, 25-23 win over Loganville.
The Panthers are now 28-6 overall and 4-0 in region play. Paisley Gillespie, the school's all-time leader in career kills, added to her total Thursday with a team-best 15 kills, while Ava Lesniak finished with a team-best 12 digs. Ally page finished with 11 digs, a team-best seven aces and a team-high 25 assists.
Jackson County faces Habersham Central and Winder-Barrow on Sept. 25, followed by Alcovy and Clarke Central on Oct. 1.
