Jackson County High School's Sam Bilyashevych has qualified for every state swim meet event. The Class AAAAAA State Championship Meet will be held Feb. 7 at Georgia Tech.
Bilyashevych is qualified in the 50-meter, 100-meter freestyles, 100-meter breaststroke, 100-meter butterfly, 100-meter backstroke, 200-meter individual medley, 200-meter freestyle, 200-meter medley, 200-meter freestyle relay and the 400-meter freestyle relay.
Bilyashevych is the first-ever Jackson County swimmer to accomplish the feat of qualifying for every state event in a single season.
