Jackson County's softball team earned its third straight victory Tuesday night, this time a key walkoff 8-7 win over Clarke Central in Region 8-AAAAA play. With the win, the Panthers remain in fourth place in the region. There are five region games remaining this season.
Emery Schiffman led the offensive attack for the Panthers Tuesday night, going 3-for-4 with four runs batted in, while scoring another run. Katelyn Czentar and Miabella Lee each scored two runs while Emma Mardos drove in two runs.
