Boys Basketball Earns First Win, Downs Flowery Branch
The Jackson County boys basketball team used 10 points, eight assists and seven rebounds from junior RJ Knapp to defeat the Flowery Branch Falcons 63-54 Tuesday afternoon in Thanksgiving tournament action at Jefferson High School.
The win avenges a 58-53 loss to the Falcons just a few weeks ago.
Jacob Lee finished with nine points and five rebounds, while Tyler Rasinski had nine points and Luke Hayes with six. The Panthers return to action Tuesday, Dec. 3 against West Hall and Thursday, Dec. 5 against East Jackson. Both contests are at home.
