Jackson County's boys basketball team finished off a perfect 3-0 week with wins over Franklin County, 68-60, and Oconee County, 55-45, on Friday and Saturday night at Panther Pavilion. Jackson County defeated East Jackson earlier in the week, and the Panthers (4-5) have now won four of their past six games heading into the holiday break.
Jackson County will host the Jaxco Holiday Hoopsfest from Dec. 28 through Dec. 30 at Jackson County High School and Legacy Knoll Middle School.
In the win over Franklin County, RJ Knapp and Brice Rogers each scored a team-high 18 points, while Jacob Lee and Adam Thomas finished with nine points and Logan Tullis with eight. In the win over Oconee County, EJ Heath scored a team-high 20 points with nine rebounds and two blocks, while Rogers and Tullis, who was a perfect 3-for-3 from 3-point range, added 13 points each.
