The Jackson County boys wrestling team finished runner-up in Region 8-AAAAAA during the traditional meet on Saturday.
The Panthers boasted three region champions and four runner-up finishes. Donovan Spry, Toby Jurovschi and Xavier Cepican finished in first place in their respective weight classes, while Malachi Kahele-Carranco, David Warr, Daylan Maxwell, Zack Scott and Josue Mendoza each finished runner-up.
Mikey Castro, Dylan Jurovschi and Andrew Phillips each finished in third place. Each wrestler has qualified for the State Sectional Meet later this month.
