Panther Wrestling Finishes 6th in Tennessee; Three Girls Go Undefeated
Jackson County's boys wrestling team finished in sixth place at the Bradley Central (Tenn.) Invitational, despite being limited in available wrestlers due to injury and sickness. The two-day tournament consisted of 37 of the best teams from the southeast competing.
Xavier Cepican was the champion of the 165-pound weight class, while David Warr (150 pounds) finished in third. Austin Jurovschi (106 pounds) and Malachi Kahele (120 pounds) finished fifth and Josue Mendoza (215 pounds) finished sixth.
Three Lady Panther Wrestlers Go Undefeated in Nutcracker Invitational: Three Jackson County girls wrestlers went undefeated at the Nutcracker Invitational hosted by Lumpkin County on Friday. Alina Jurovschi, Annabelle Ally and Abby Anderson each won their respective weight classes.
