Jackson County junior Erin O'Brien broke the school-record in the girls' 3200-meter run with a time of 11:46.27, finishing eighth overall in the event during Saturday's Jerry Arnold Challenge at Mill Creek High School, a meet that featured 31 high schools. O'Brien also finished fifth overall in the girls' 1600-meter run with a time of 5:31.60.
