The Jackson County girls wrestling team finished in second place out of 42 teams at the Area 8 Traditional Meet on Friday. The Lady Panthers saw Alina Jurovschi finish as the champion of her weight class. Anna Skoda, Amiya Edwards and Abby Andersen each finished second, while Aubree Dobbs, Charis Humby finished fourth. Maka Domingo finished fifth.
The four four wrestlers from each weight class earned an invitation to compete in the sectional wrestling tournament later this month.
