The Jackson County girls basketball team improved to 7-3 overall and 2-0 in Region 8-AAAAA play Friday night with a 39-31 win over Clarke Central. The Lady Panthers have now won five straight games.
Lydia Wolfe finished with a game-high 11 points and seven rebounds to go along with four assists and two steals. Madelyn Drucker had six points and five rebounds, while Lillie Vick and Kelsey Clack finished with five points each.
