Jackson County girls soccer coach Matt Maier won his 100th career game Friday night, a 4-0 Lady Panthers victory over region foe Apalachee. The victory improved Mair's coaching record to 100-41-3 in his ninth season of coaching.
Katie Nalder, Delayney Weatherly, Finley Lancaster and Annabella Moron all scored goals in the win over Apalachee.
With the win, the Lady Panthers improved their record to 6-3-1 on the season and 4-1 in region play. JCHS girls soccer has won its last three games, all shutouts. Jackson County hosts Lanier on Friday in another Region 8-AAAAAA matchup.
