JCHS Cheer Wins At Commerce
The Jackson County competition cheerleading team claimed first place at Commerce High School Saturday, the team's first top finish of the season. The Panthers finished with a score of 77, their highest scores of the season in tumbling. The Panthers have finished in the top three of every competition this season, and will compete at Houston County for Region and Sectionals on Nov. 9. The Panthers are currently ranked 19th in the state. The top 16 teams at Houston County will move on to the state competition.
