History was made Wednesday night as the Jackson County boys lacrosse team earned the first win in program history when the Panthers took down Gainesville 13-3. Dallas Hagerty had a career night with five goals, while Peyton Liechty finished with three goals and Jayce Greer with two goals. Owen Kidwell, Blake Todd and Chase Chandler each finished with one goal. The Jackson County lacrosse program is in its first year of existence and is playing a junior varsity schedule this season. The Panthers have two games remaining this season.
