JCHS Basketball Announces 2024-25 Schedule

The Jackson County basketball teams announced their 2024-25 schedules on Tuesday. Both varsity squads open the season Nov. 15 with home games against Oconee County and Nov. 16 at home against Cedar Shoals. 

Both teams will take part in the Thanksgiving Tournament at Jefferson High School from Nov. 23 through Nov. 26 before home games against West Hall (Dec. 3) and East Jackson (Dec. 5). 

Both teams begin Region 8-AAAAA play on Dec. 10 with home games against Apalachee followed by a road contest at Clarke Central on Dec. 13 and Habersham Central on Dec. 17. The two teams will tangle with Jefferson in non-region play on Dec. 20 before hosting the Jaxco Hoopfest at Panther Pavilion on Dec. 27 through Dec. 30. 

The teams return to region play on Jan. 3 against Winder-Barrow. The final nine games of the regular season will be against region competition, the final one hosting Loganville on Feb. 7. 

The boys will enter their second year under head coach Joel Lecoeuvre. The Panthers finished 9-17 a season prior. The Lady Panthers enter their first season under head coach Mackenzie Sandy (formerly Darrah).
