JCHS Girls Wrestling Wins Lady Panther Invitational
The Jackson County girls wrestling team finished in forest place of the Lady Raider Invitational on Saturday in Habersham County. The Lady Panthers had 14 of their 15 wrestlers finish inside the top four of their respective weight classes to earn 151 points for the team.
Maka Domingo, Amiya Edwards, Fiona Wheaton and Abby Andersen each finished in first place, while Marlie Sanchez and Annabelle Ally finished second. Genesis Villanueva and Charlotte Gibson finished in third and Danielle Hussey, Nevaeh Harrison, Tatiana Rubio and Hayleigh Abernathy finished fourth.
