The Jackson County girls wrestling team started the season with a fourth-place finish at the Girl’s Kickoff Scuttle in Jefferson. The Panthers totaled 90 points, finishing one place ahead of tournament host Jefferson. Alina Jurovschi placed first in the 100-pound weight class. Anna Skoda finished third in her weight class, while Abbi Anderson, Maka Domingo and Amiya Edwards, all of whom are first-year wrestlers, placed fourth in their weight classes.
