The Jackson County High School girls tennis team will face Roswell in the second round of the Class AAAAAA State Playoffs on Tuesday, following a 4-0 win for the Lady Panthers over Nenan on Tuesday. The matchup against Roswell will be held at JCHS and is a rematch of last year's first-round match.
On Tuesday night, the scoring started with the No. 2 doubles tandem of Armani Ly and Rylee Johnson (6-1, 6-0). It continued with Mai Xuan Johnson earning a 6-1-, 6-1 win in the No. 3 singles match. The No. 1 doubles pair of Brooklyn Clerici and Lily Potter won 6-0, 6-3 and No. 1 single Skylar Xiong won 7-5, 4-0 to secure the victory for JCHS.
