The Jackson County girls soccer team won its sixth straight game Friday night, defeating Gainesville 3-0. The Lady Panthers are now 8-3-1 overall and 7-1 in Region 8-AAAAAA, sitting alone in first place.
Caitlan Collins finished with two goals and Scarlet Maxey finished with one. Aliyah Haney, Finley Lancaster and Maxey each had assists in the win. Jackson County visits North Forsyth and Habersham Central this week.
