The Jackson County girls varsity soccer team blanked Apalachee 10-0 Friday night in Region 8-AAAAA action. The Lady Panthers saw Kerrigan Habeeb, Isabella Parpart Shackelford and Aliyah Haney each score two goals in the win, followed by lone goals from Finley Lancaster, Taylor Burel and Caitlan Collins.
Lancaster, Collins, Shackelford, Aubrey MacDowell each had an assist, along with Anabella Moron, who finished with two. JCHS also took advantage of Apalachee scoring an own-goal in the game.
Jackson County is now 6-4 overall and 3-0 in Region 8 competition. The Lady Panthers visit Seckinger in non-region action on Tuesday night before returning to region play on Friday against Loganville.
