Annabella Moron scored two second-half goals, Abby Johnson and Scarlet Maxey each had an assist, lifting the Jackson County girls soccer team over Newnan on Thursday night in the first round of the Class AAAAAA state playoffs. Jackson County will visit Pope High School in the Sweet 16 round on Thursday with a 6 p.m. start.
