Girls Lacrosse Wins First-Ever Game
The Jackson County girls lacrosse team earned the first win in school-history on Thursday night, beating Oconee County 14-9. This is the first season for lacrosse at Jackson County High School.
Lydia Williamson led the Lady Panthers with seven goals on the night, followed by Morgan Papuga and Riley Rogers scoring two goals each. Jordan Ryder, Addie Ryder and Marley Kable each scored a goal on the night. Jaden Norris finished the night with five saves in the goal.
Jackson County visits Norcross on Tuesday, March 12, before hosting Gainesville on Wednesday, March 13. Jackson County's final home match of the inaugural season will be held on March 15 against Greater Atlanta Christian.
