The Jackson County girls lacrosse team earned its first area win in the program's history with a 10-4 win over Hebron Monday night. The Lady Panthers are now 4-3 in their first varsity season of competition, and host Dacula next Tuesday in non-area competition.
Tatum Young led the way Monday night with a hat-trick of goals, followed by Riley Rogers and Maddie Mannino each with two goals. Jordan Ryder, Selina Hamilton-Golloway and Lydia Williamson each contributed with a goal.
Jaden Norris finished with six crucial saves in the net for the Lady Panthers.
