Girls Lacrosse Downs Norcross, Gainesville In Back-to-Back Nights

The Jackson County girls lacrosse team, fresh off the program's first-ever victory over Oconee County, has now won three consecutive games. The Lady Panthers defeated Norcross Tuesday night, 11-8, and Gainesville Wednesday night by a score of 13-6. The Lady Panthers are now 3-3 in the program's first-ever season, with two games remaining.

In the win over Norcross, Marley Kable, Tatum Young, Riley Rogers and Lydia Williamson all scored two goals each, while Morgan Papuga and Maddie Mannino scored one goal each. Jaden Norris notched 15 saves inside the goal for the Lady Panthers. Against Gainesville, Williamson and Kable each scored four games on the night, while Young, Rogers, Papuga, Jordan Ryder and Mannino each added a goal. Papuga also finished with eight draw controls against Gainesville.
