Girls Golf Wins at St. Marlo, Boys Win at Traditions

​The Jackson County girls golf team shot a 1-under par 35 in a team scramble event Wednesday afternoon at St. Marlo Country Club to defeat host Norcross, Mountain View, Central and South Forsyth High Schools. The four Lady Panthers were Anna Holley, Bailey King, Mackenzie Oliver and Chloe Kubiak.

On the boys side, the Panthers won a three-team match against Norcross and Peachtree Ridge, competing at Traditions of Braselton. The Panthers were led by Jake Simmons, who fired off a 9-hole score of 39, and Bo Bowdoin and Samuel Maxey, who both shot 40.
