The Jackson County girls basketball team defeated Gainesville 54-47 on Tuesday night inside Panther Pavilion. Maddie Harkins led the Panthers with 18 points, eight rebounds, and three steals. Jalyn Robinson had nine points, three rebounds, two blocks and three steals. Macey McCutcheon contributed with five assists, four rebounds, two deflections, and two steals. Lillie Vick posted nine rebounds, complimented by Brooklyn Bruce's six rebounds and three steals.
The Lady Panthers travel to Habersham Central Friday night to take on the Lady Raiders at 7 p.m. for another region matchup.
