The Jackson County boys wrestling team defeated Oconee County, Marist, Madison County and Brunswick Tuesday afternoon to claim the Madison County Turkey Duals. In the process, head wrestling coach Jim Gassman earned his 300th career duals victory as a head coach. The duals tournament win is the first of the season for the Panther program.
Gassman is in his second season leading the Panther program after having spent over 10 years at Mountain View High School in Lawrenceville.
