Flag Football Improves to 7-0
The Jackson County flag football team improved to 7-0 on the season with a 24-0 win over Apalachee and a 19-7 win over Seckinger.
The undefeated start is the best start in the program's young two-year history.
Aubree Dobbs threw for two touchdowns and 129 yards in the win over Apalachee before adding two more scores and 102 yards against Seckinger. AnnaBrae Wood saw action at quarterback as well, going 3-for-4 for 36 yards and a score.
Aliyah Haney led the team with 122 yards receiving and a touchdown in the win over Apalachee, while Macie Harrison and Sole Bailey also caught touchdown passes. Bailey also rushed for a score.
Kynsleigh Hewell finished the win over Apalachee with a season-high three interceptions for the Panthers before adding a fourth interception on the night in the win over Seckinger.
Dobbs rushed for a team-high 35 yards and a score in the win over Seckinger, while Bailey and Haney each hauled in touchdown passes.
