Flag Football Improves to 11-1

The Jackson County girls flag football team earned a 13-0 win over Peachtree Ridge before falling 14-12 to Central Gwinnett Monday night. The Panthers are now 11-1 on the season. 

Aubree Dobbs passed for two touchdowns in the shutout win over Peachtree Ridge, both going to Aliyah Haney. Sole Bailey finished with two interceptions and Kynsleigh Hewell with one. 

In the loss to Central Gwinnett, Dobbs fired two additional touchdown passes, one to Haney and one to Bailey. 

Flag football returns to action Thursday, Oct. 24 with a home game against Winder-Barrow. The varsity competes at 7, with junior varsity at 6 p.m.
