Flag Football Falls to Grayson, Blows Out Norcross

Jackson County's girls flag football team fell to Grayson Monday night, 14-7, but bounced right back with a 33-0 win over Norcross. The Lady Panthers are now 2-1 on the season and face Foley and Spanish Fort in neutral site games on Thursday night. The Panthers also face Bryant on Saturday.

Jackson County tallied four rushing touchdowns in the win over Norcross and one passing touchdown from Aubree Dobbs. Aliyah Haney led the team with 73 yards rushing and a score, while Katie Nalder had a 39-yard touchdown run, Natalie Scott had a 6-yard score and Finley Lancaster had a 5-yard score. Defensively Giovannie Diogo had four tackles for loss, while Alyssa Gresham had two TFL's.
