The Jackson County High School competition cheerleading team has been nominated as the Georgia Cheerleading Coaches Association's Competition Team of the Year. With the announcement, four Panther cheerleaders were named to the Region 8-AAAAAA Squad of the Year.
The four Panthers were Kendall Czentnar, Isabella Gilbert, Braelyn Gruber and Sophia Guitierrez-Hurst.
The JCHS cheerleading program finished in eighth place at the GHSA Class 6A State Championship in November.
