The Jackson County boys wrestling team finished 3-0 to win the Walnut Grove Duals on Saturday. The Panthers defeated Westminster, 64-9, Parkview, 57-21, and Walnut Grove, 43-30.
Six Jackson County wrestlers finished with a perfect 3-0 record on the day — Austin Jurovschi (106 pounds), Donovan Spry (113 pounds), Malachi Kahele-Carranco (120 pounds), Xavier Cepican (165 pounds), Josue Mendoza (190 pounds) and Alonso Ortiz (215 pounds).
The Panthers now have a 17-3 dual record this season and head to the Region 8-AAAAAA Dual Tournament Saturday at Lanier High School.
