The Jackson County boys soccer team shutout Social Circle 10-0 earlier this week, improving the Panthers' record to 12-5 overall and 3-2 inside Region 8-AAAAA.
The Panthers have broken the school record for wins in a season, broke the single-team scoring record with 65 goals scored, have the highest region playoff seeding since the school surpassed Class AAA, ranked 401st nationally out of 16,000 high school teams and are ranked 78th in the state out of the 463 competing seasons.
The Panthers face Alcovy tonight.
