Freshman Samuel Maxey fired a score of 40 to finish tied for fourth overall in the 2024 Jackson County Boys Golf Championship at Double Oaks on Wednesday, leading the Jackson County Panthers to a second place team finish.
Junior Jake Simmons and freshman Ashton Bryant finished tied for seventh with a score of 41, while junior Bryan Frazier finished 11th with a score of 43. The Panthers finished with a score of 165, behind county champion Jefferson.
