The Jackson County boys and girls wrestling teams qualified for the State Dual Wrestling Championships on Thursday night. The boys, who won the Region 8 championship, will compete at Lassiter High School in Marietta in the Class AAAAA state championship. The girls, who finished second in the area, will compete in Lumpkin County.
The boys are ranked inside the top five in the state for dual competition and are undefeated this season.
