Jackson County's boys cross country team finished in first place, out of 22 teams, at Saturday's Apalachee Invitational in Winder. The Lady Panthers finished sixth, out of 18.
Eli Avrett finished fourth overall with a time of 16:20.69, while Gavin Howland (16:56.78) finished 11th. Madux Wright (17:16.56) finished 14th, Bryce Leitsch (17:25.84) 21st and Adam Thomas (18:29.51) 45th. On the girls side, Loralai Eager (21:56.68) finished 19th, Ellie Wilkerson (22:27.64) 30th, Julia Crowthers (23:20.21) 41st, Eliza Linn (24:36.47) 59th and Riley Benton (24:36.79) 60th.
