The Jackson County boys basketball team earned its second consecutive victory Tuesday night, defeating West Hall 73-40 in the Panthers' home opener. The Panthers host in-county rival East Jackson Thursday night at 8 p.m.
RJ Knapp led all scorers with 16 points and 8 rebounds, while Adrian Pranjkic finished with 12 points and 7 rebounds. Luke Hayes was a perfect 3-for-3 from 3-point range to finish with 9 points, while Tyler Rasinski finished with 9 points, 3 rebounds and 3 steals. Landon Jones recorded 9 points and 4 rebounds while Jacob Lee finished with 5 points and a team-best 7 assists.
