Boys Basketball Claws Past East Jackson, 80-52
The Jackson County boys basketball team earned its third consecutive win Thursday night, beating in-county opponent East Jackson 80-52 inside Panther Pavilion.
The Panthers raced out to a 24-4 lead and never looked back, improving to 3-5 on the young season. Jackson County was led by Logan Tullis' 22 points, including four 3-pointers on the night. RJ Knapp finished with 17 points to go along with six rebounds and five assists, while Landon Jones finished with 10 points, four rebounds and two steals. Adam Thomas contributed with nine points in the win.
Jackson County opens region play Tuesday night against Apalachee. Tip-off is set for 7:30 p.m. inside Panther Pavilion at Jackson County High School.
