Riding Three-Game Win Streak, Baseball Hosts Gainesville
The Jackson County baseball team earned a third straight victory with a 10-8 win over Shiloh on Wednesday, April 3. The Panthers host Gainesville on Monday, April 8.
The Panthers enter riding the three-game winning streak, having beaten North Forsyth 3-1 and Shiloh in back-to-back games. Monday's game against Gainesville marks the third and final regular season meeting between the two teams. The Red Elephants have won the previous two games by one run each. The Red Elephants currently hold the fourth seed in Region 8-AAAAAA, while the Panthers sit in fifth.
Jackson County visits Lanier on Wednesday and Habersham Central on Friday in region play, before hosting Apalachee on Monday, April 15. The Panthers close out the regular season with two road contests, coming April 17 at North Forsyth and April 19 at Shiloh.
