Bailey, Haney Become First All-State Players for JCHS Flag Football

Sole Bailey and Aliyah Haney became the first players in Jackson County Flag Football program's two-year history to be named All-State.

Bailey was named First Team Offense and Defense while Haney earned Second Team Offense. 

Bailey finished the year with 706 yards receiving with 17 touchdowns to go along with 620 yards and four touchdowns rushing. Defensively, Bailey finished with 45 flag pulls, eight interceptions and seven pass breakups. 

Haney led the Panthers with 113 receptions with 1,239 yards and 21 touchdowns this season. She also led the team in rushes with 82 for 593 yards and three touchdowns.

The Jackson County girls flag football team finished with an 18-4 record and lost in the second round of the GHSA state playoffs.
